Catherine Albers-Associate Artistic Director

Catherine Albers is a professional actor. She serves as the Director of Undergraduate Theater Studies at Case Western Reserve University and is a Master Teacher and acting coach in the joint Cleveland Play House and Case Western Reserve University Professional Actor Training Program. She is a fully certified teacher of the Michael Chekhov Acting Technique and has taught it nationally and internationally. She has been an invited guest observer at the British American Drama Academy in London, England and the National Theatre Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Center in Waterford, CT, and has taught for the Kennedy Center in their high school theater workshops, held nationally throughout the summer. She has received many teaching awards and is a member of AEA, AFTRA, and SAG.

Catherine also works in helping lawyers to train in acting technique that help with their presentation skills, in and out of the courtroom. She has appeared at law conferences, bar association events and does guest teaching at the Case Law School. Catherine has also performed in Deaf Theatre and formed a touring children's theater company.
